Sustainable Additive Manufacturing for High Temperature Applications Phase II (HTA 2.0)

2023 - 2025

PROCEED Labs GmbH is a partner in the research project HTA 2.0. The aim of this exciting project is the development of new Additive Manufacturing (AM) processes and components for high-temperature components in large gas turbines, taking into account sustainable product development.

Electron-beam additive manufacturing produced the fully functional lightweight robotic hand and other parts pictured here, which were made from titanium powder. By Oak Ridge National Laboratory. CC-BY-2.0

The technology fields of the project include various additive processes and materials, as well as the consideration of sustainable manufacturing of AM components. Here, PROCEED Labs GmbH is involved in the research of an intelligent post-processing process chain depending on the respective AM process. Our goal is to create an efficient production for additive manufacturing that dynamically arranges the steps necessary for post-processing.

This project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE) and Investitionsbank Berlin.
